Each month, members will be spoilt for choice with a bountiful hamper of treats delivered to your door laden with a sumptuous selection of our hand-crafted artisan cheese. And because we love all things local, our hampers are carefully curated to give you a taste of a variety of locally made products from preserves and charcuterie to jams, chillis, tapenades, and more.

Each monthly hamper will include a minimum of:
Multiple cuts of cheese of different ages and types, amounting to at least 1-2kg of cheese.
Numerous perfectly paired accompaniments! We’ll rotate the monthly pairings with other specialty crackers, meats, jams, etc.
A useful and interesting piece of cheese-related equipment or tool.
A detailed insert telling you about all the goodies with recipes.
Our specialised Cheese tasting notes and pairing favourites.

THE NITTY GRITTY
Ordering and cut off dates
Because cheese is everything, and we don’t want any delays in getting yours to you, we close orders 1 week before the dispatch date.
Gifting your Cheese Of The Month hamper to someone else
We love a cheese gift as much as the next person, so we are completely flexible should you want to redirect one of your monthly hampers to a loved one. Simply send instructions to picnics@kleinrivercheese.co.za and we will arrange for your box to be redirected.
Cancelling an order
We are unable to cancel any orders for upcoming months that have been paid for. You can, however, defer an order to a future month or gift it to someone else (see above).
Cutting and weights
All cheeses are cut to order by hand. As such, all weights referred to for our Cheese Of The Month hampers are guidelines, and there can be some fluctuations around those guideline weights
Product Description
All of the product images on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Please note products and their packaging may vary from the pictures on the website. The products in our Cheese Of The Month hampers are constantly rotated and adapted. Vegetarian? No problem! Just specify on checkout and we’ll make sure to load your box with all of the best local vegetarian fare.
Delivery
We use a leading dedicated third party for all of our deliveries. Our aim is to deliver all orders within 3-5 days from the dispatch date. We are able to deliver to both residential addresses and business addresses, so please make sure you give the correct address and instructions upon checkout for the courier. On receipt of your order, we advise you to refrigerate the cheese straight away. Or better yet.. eat it straight away!
Pre-paid subscriptions
Our 3 month and 6-month subscriptions must be paid for in advance at the time of ordering. We will always confirm each dispatch date throughout your subscription in your first delivery hamper. If we do not hear from you, we will assume you agree with those dates. At your request, we are fully flexible with regard to your delivery preferences and requirements.
