We are situated on the R326 (7 km outside Stanford). Stanford is a picturesque village just 20 minutes drive away from both Hermanus and Gansbaai.
This is a family run business and a working farm, please respect our plants, animals and fellow human beings. There are five families that live on the Farmstead and they have kindly allowed guests to use their gardens. Klein River Cheese Farmstead is private property.
Please note that there are no longer walk-in picnics available on the farm, and our flagship retail space has moved to Walker Bay Estate & Birkenhead Brewery on the edge of Stanford.
Klein River Farmstead is an environmentally-conscious Farmstead and on a course for self-sustainability.
The highlights of which have been the installation of a PV solar system, planting of more than 500 indigenous trees, and reduction of plastic from the basket and production facility.
Our focus is on creating a sustainable and nurturing environment.
